COMMITTEE REPORTS
Legislative Committee
Chairperson: Marcia Murray, Astro Village Listing Service
Monitors legislation and regulations affecting the industry on the state and federal levels. Works with lobbyist to review and recommend advocacy positions for the association.
Community Committee
Chairperson: Cathy Whitsel
Monitors and reviews all policies affecting manufactured housing communities. Works in conjunction with the legislative committee on issues involving legislation or regulation.
Membership Committee
Chairperson: Dale Walker, Jr., Walker Sales & Distribution
Develops and maintains an effective member recruitment and retention program. Plans and assists with the coordination of educational programs for the professional development of members. And develops market expansion programs and programs giving the industry positive exposure to the local communities.
Public Relations/Marketing Committee
Chairperson: Ray Broderick, Superior Homes
Develops and maintains an effective state-wide television marketing campaign; "Put More Home in Your Life."
Transportation Committee
Chairperson: Jeff Zimmerman, Pine Grove Manufactured Homes
Monitors and reviews all policies affecting the safe transportation of factory built housing upon the highways. Develops and maintains safety programs to advocate better consumer awareness about sha4ring the road with oversized loads. Works in conjunction with the Legislative Committee on issues involving legislation or regulation.
Finance/Insurance Committee
Chairperson: Mike Bradley, DSC, Inc.
Monitors and reviews all policies affecting the financing of manufactured housing. Works in conjunction with the legislative committee on issues involving legislation or regulation.
Political Action Committee
Chairperson: Mike Bradley, DSC Financial Services, Inc.
Shall manage the affairs of the Pennsylvania Manufactured Housing Political Action Committee (PMH PAC), to include fundraising and educational activities.
Retailer Committee
Chairperson: John Fanelli, Riverview Home Sales
Coordinates and updates the industry events as they affect this portion of the membership body.
Show Committee
Chairperson: Dale Walker, Jr., Walker Sales and Distribution, Inc.
Coordinates and plans the yearly tradeshow HOMExpo.
